The Philippine Women’s University, or PWU, is an educational institution that is non-stock and not-for profit. It is recognized as a legal entity under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
In the academic year 2019-2020, the University will celebrate its centennial. It is the highest tier in the Philippine educational hierarchy and has been awarded Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (2008-2008).
The University’s core values can be fostered by a curriculum that focuses on holistic character formation and the preservation of cultural heritage and family solidarity. It also encourages ethical professionalism and service to country.
